In 2013, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Spanish with a minor in psychology at Missouri State University. I obtained my TEFL certificate in 2014. While I was a college student, I had the opportunity to spend time studying in Salamanca, Spain. I also took a mission trip to Nicaragua, where I spent time translating for a team of medical doctors. I spent 10 months living in Santiago, Chile, where I taught English as a second language to groups of up to 20 students.My time living in Chile helped me realize how much I enjoyed studying the language, and inspired my passion to help others. I understand what type of struggles students learning a new language will face, and work hard to relate my lessons to real-life situations so that my students are able to easily grasp and retain the information they are learning. Currently, I'm a tutor in the O'Fallon, Missouri area, and I'm available to tutor students in Spanish levels 1, 2, 3, and 4, as well as in English, reading, writing, and ESL/ELL. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, crafting, going to concerts, and spending time outdoors.
